1. What did you do to make sure everyone understood why they were doing a task?

2. What did you do to control the group during your session?

3. How did you feel when you were giving teaching points to the group?

1) To make sure everyone understood the task, and why they were doing it, i was very clear with instructions and as the lesson progressed and the students started using skills they'd learnt earlier it became obvious why they were learning certain skills.

2)Control wasn't a big problem because my group was relatively small and interested in the lesson. SO long as the people were occupied they had no reason to be controlled.

3)Giving teaching points felt fine. I was secure in my knowledge of the points adn therefore i was very confident teaching them.

4) Basic communication is important and understanding that not everyone in the group can always keep up and making sure that your communicating at a good pace for everyone.

Hi Sir it's JAKE WALERIUS. Hello.
1. When explaining the task i explained first to the whole group. I answered any questions and let them start. If i saw that someone was finding it difficult or doing it wrong i would go over and recap to them what they were doing and show them an example of how to do it.
2.My group was very good when teaching my classmates. They responded very well to instructions and i didn't have to discipline anyone. When teaching the year seven class they were slightly more uncooperarive but i just told them to be quiet and they listened well, i didn't have to go any farther than that to control the group.
3.When i was giving points to the group i felt in control and like they were listening to what i said. There didn't seem to be any problems understanding me and they responded well.
4.I learnt that when you are communicating with other people you need to be clear and precise. You also need to make sure that there are no questions and everyone knows whats going on. When explaining something explain it all and don't misss out any points.

1. to make sure everyone understood what they were doing i was very clear with explaining the activity. i also told the group what skills this activity would improve.

2. i always had them doing somthing, so when i was settting up the next game they were either doing another activity or going for a warm up jog.

3. i felt good when i was giving teaching points to the group, because i knew they were taking it in and using it to perform at a higher level

4. you dont have to shout, once you have their respect they will listen to you.

Jack Goldberg,

1. To ensure everyone understood what they were doing and why they were doing the task i made sure i explained what we were looking to acheive by the end of the lesson and what each activity will test. Then gradually making it harder once the first task was acheived so i know they are capable to do it.

2. I feel i could have controlled them better bty not doing each activity so close together in terms of space as they got side tracked by the other group.
However, I kept them active throughout so they dont get bored and keep it enjoyable yet firm.

3. When i was giving teaching points to the group i felt that it was helping them as it helped them understand the task and that i learned myself how to get across the teaching points.

4. The main thing i learnt is that the slightest lack in clarity you can fail to meet the lessons objectives.

1. I gave a detailed introduction followed by a demo. I awnsered questions then let them start. I gave pointers to any people who didn't quite get it and praised people who did.

2.i didn't have have much problems with control. However i isolated the troublemakers told them what i was not pleased with and let them join in again. i also kept the students occupied and intrested.

3.i felt that i knew the teachings points very well so i was able to explain and awnser question on them.

4.you need to be clear and precise, make good eye contact and make sure everyone knows what they are doing.

1)TO ensure that evryone new what the task were in the activities i had regular interval to ask questions about what they were doing and how they coducted themselves

2)To help get my group under control i spoke to them as i would be speak to them normally and showed sufficent amount of respect , aswell as this i constantly had them doing something so they didnt have the mind set to cause any trouble

3)i felt quite good and just hoped they were able to take my expertise and use them later on in life

4)u have to treat them with respect because if u dont they are not entitled to do anything for you and then that has your foundation of the lesson wiped out completley

1.to make sure that everyone understood why they were doing the task, i clearly explained what the task was and broke it down so that throughout the lesson smaller tasks evolved into one big task in which all of the skills they had learnt previously in the lesson had to be used.

2. At the beggining of the lesson i told the kids that if they misbehaved they would be punished and would have to miss out on certain activities, i also mentioned that if they were good aswell it would not go unnoticed and that they would be rewarded. This was helped by good communication between us both.

3. Giving teaching points to the group felt fine as i felt that they listened to me and that i was clear in explaining the points to them, additionally i listened to any questions or problems and i felt that it helped.

4. The main thing that i learnt when communicating with the group was that talking directly to them helped them understand better and speaking clearly and with confidence also helped.
